Upload guide: what photo works best

Best photo in one line: a front-facing photo taken from slightly below, with your face large in the frame.

• Pose and framing: Use a front-facing view from slightly below, sitting on top and facing the camera, the way this template frames its view from below.
• Eyes: Keep your eyes half shut and looking at the camera, with no sunglasses and no hair across your eyes.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth open and uncovered.
• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and sharpness: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Avoid: rear views, distant full-body shots, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
